From the moment you step in, the fit is gentle and the shoe feels light. It is designed with meticulous attention to detail, so it feels good with or without socks.
Built by hand in Fuchu City, better with wear.
Every pair is made one at a time at our factory in Fuchu City, Hiroshima. We have built shoes here since 1933, adjusting the last (the wooden form that shapes the shoe) and the pattern again and again to fit the Japanese foot. Our craftsmen cut the leather and finish each pair by hand. That is where the quality comes from.
The wave sole: made to last, made to repair.
Spingle's wave sole cushions, holds up, and flexes, and it can be repaired. A serious pair you'll still reach for every day. We keep building it by hand at our Fuchu factory, which is why it stays with you for years.
