The Shizuoka Prefecture sandal brand "mizutori" is currently selling collaboration items with SPINGLE MOVE on the crowdfunding site "Makuake."
"Can we preserve the traditional Japanese footwear of geta for the future, even if we have to change its shape?" "Can we incorporate new technology to create an evolved footwear for the modern age?" This collaboration project was started from such thoughts of mizutori.
This collaboration item is made by bonding natural wood with a rolled up sole, which is a first for both companies.
We aimed to develop a new type of sandal that is innovative yet fits into everyday life, and created a design that is easy to wear on an everyday basis and matches casual and sporty fashions.
SPINGLE MOVE's iconic "rolled up sole" has excellent grip and cushioning, making these sandals easy to walk in.
It will be on sale on Makuake until 6:00 p.m. on Friday, April 29, 2022.
